What does your job entail?
I take images of patients to see what is causing their problem. The Radiologist then reviews these images so they can dictate the problem to the patient’s doctor. Then the patient’s doctor can choose the best course of action to cure the problem.
What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
Salesman
What do you like about working at Newberry Hospital?
The close, small town feeling.
What do you like to do when you aren’t working?
Spend time with family. We like to go fishing, hunting, camping, boating and cook out.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Flying
What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned during the pandemic?
Never take anything for granted.
What is one moment from the past year that stands out from your experience as a healthcare worker?
The day we got our first COVID-19 patient at Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
