Patient Statement Guide

Introducing Your New Statement

Thank you for choosing Newberry County Memorial Hospital for your healthcare needs. We are committed to ensuring your entire customer experience with our hospital is of the highest level of quality - from before arrival to after discharge. Your experience with Patient Financial Services should be no exception to that.

That’s why we have implemented changes to provide clear communication throughout our billing process. We are happy to introduce our new patient statement guide.

You can view information about the new patient statement at this link, or download a copy of your own.

Understanding Your Hospital Bill

Patient Financial Services will send out a series of statements regarding your balance. The amount reflected on this bill is the amount owed.

If the amount owed has not been paid, and you haven’t already reached out to set up a payment plan, you will receive a final notice that the balance is past due. If the bill is not paid within 30 days of the final notice, you may be referred to collections. Patient Financial Services is available to assist you with any questions or concerns you have.

We are passionate about ensuring the experience you have with Patient Financial Services is just as exceptional as the care you received at our hospital. Please call 803-620-8990 or toll free at 877-766-8518 for more information.
