Dr. Owens is a board certified orthopedic surgeon. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He went on to complete a fellowship in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery at the University of Florida. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the South Carolina Orthopedic Association, the Florida Orthopedic Association, and the Florida Hand Society. Dr. Owens enjoys golfing and snow skiing. He and his wife have one child.
