Dr. Van Dam is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, a medical specialty that seeks to address bone and joint issues without surgery. Dr. Van Dam earned her medical degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and completed her internship in internal medicine and her residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Emory University. While at Emory, she was awarded “Resident of the Year,” a high honor. When not at work, Dr. Van Dam enjoys her two children, her dogs, running, swimming, reading, and coaching a kids’ running group.
