Bio

Dr. Gundu is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, a medical specialty that seeks to address bone and joint issues without surgery. Dr. Gundu earned his medical degree from Deccan College of Medical Sciences. He attended Eastern Kentucky University where he earned a Masters in Public Health. He then did his internship and residency in general surgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Kentucky in Lexington. During his residency, he was selected the chief resident, a high honor. Additionally, he has conducted research in various areas of interventional pain management. Dr. Gundu enjoys working closely with his patients to determine the best way to treat and eliminate back pain and other issues. Away from medicine, Dr. Gundu enjoys playing basketball, cooking, guitar, and a good game of chess.
