 The Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Education Sorority, Theta Chapter in Newberry, recently made a heartfelt donation to Newberry Hospital

 The Alpha Delta Kappa Honorary Education Sorority, Theta Chapter in Newberry, recently made a heartfelt donation to Newberry Hospital to celebrate the arrival of the first newborn baby girl and boy of 2025. The donation consists of two beautifully crafted gift baskets—one pink and one blue—filled with essential items for newborns, including toys, blankets, and other necessities.

"It’s our way of giving back to the Newberry community. As educators, we believe that support begins the moment a child is born," said Deedee Westwood, President Elect of the Theta Chapter in Newberry.

Altruism is at the heart of the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, and the organization’s commitment to giving back is evident in their efforts. In November and December, the chapter members gathered donations to create these thoughtful baskets for Newberry Hospital.

This generous gesture will undoubtedly make a lasting impact on the families receiving these gifts in 2025, helping them start their new journey with love and care.
