Basic Functions

The CNA provides individualized patient care using age appropriate skills while under the supervision of a licensed nurse.


Minimum Requirements

Applicant must be a graduate of a nursing assistant program or a student of a nursing program that has completed fundamentals of nursing class or on the job training. BLS certification required. Clinical experience in an acute care environment preferred. Interpersonal skills used to effectively communicate; ability to apply problem solving skills in several situations; ability to cope in stressful environment when dealing with patients, physicians, etc.
