How to Find Newberry Hospital
Volunteers are valued members of the Newberry County Memorial Hospital family. We rely on volunteers to make our patients and their loved one comfortable and welcome. We also count on volunteers to assist in the gift shop as well as in other areas of the hospital. We’re always looking for fresh faces to join our family. We hope you will consider volunteering with us. You will make many friends along the way!
Who We Are
Our volunteers vary in age, background, personality, interests, and skills. The one thing our volunteers have in common is a special desire to help. Last year, our volunteers gave more than 8,400 hours of service to our hospital.
What We Offer
There are many opportunities to use your talents as a volunteer. Volunteer hours are flexible for your convenience. You may volunteer regularly or on an "as needed basis". Healthcare is changing, and so are our volunteer needs. We will work together to match our needs with your schedule. We also have special projects that we need help with such as "virtual volunteers" who enjoy sharing their computer skills and talents. Click to see volunteer opportunities.
