NCMH Wellness Center

At Newberry Hospital, we are dedicated to keeping you well, close to home. Being more in control of your health through prevention is the KEY to improved quality of life.

The NCMH Wellness Center has medically directed exercise, fitness, and health education classes for all ages. We assist you in controlling your numbers—weight, blood pressure, glucose, and cholesterol. Our personalized exercise programs along with the support and encouragement of our certified staff will help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

Childbirth & Newborn Classes

HEARTFit

Our innovative HEARTFIT program starts with a personal wellness profile outlining your health status, where you need to be health wise, and safe recommendations to improve your health. We then design an individualized fitness program to help you achieve your goals. All workouts are medically supervised. We want you to get fit in a safe, supportive environment.

Free Programs

We offer a number of free classes to provide our community with information you need to make healthy choices. This includes classes that address exercise, nutrition, diabetes and congestive heart failure.

Other Programs

The NCMH Wellness Center offers Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation by physician referral. Diabetic Education also is available by physician referral.
