Dietary Services

Newberry Hospital provides dietary services to patients, staff and visitors in patient rooms and in our cafeteria. 

Guest Trays

If you are a guest visiting a family member or friend, you may order meals through the nursing staff. Meals are priced as follows: breakfast: $3.00, lunch: $5.00, dinner: $4.00. Please contact your nurse to arrange this service. 

Cafeteria

Monday-Friday, guests may also go to the cafeteria located in the basement of the hospital for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is served from 6:45-8 am. Lunch is served from 11:30 am-1 pm. Vending machines with drinks and snacks are available in the main lobby and at the Emergency Department entrance.

Registered Dietician Services

Annette Weseman, a registered dietician (RD), offers dietary consultation at Newberry Hospital. She is an active part of our healthcare team, providing nutritional evaluations on patients and teaching on individual diet needs. In Annette's absence, coverage is provided by Susan Hoffman, RD.

Outpatient Dietician Services

Annette Weseman, RD, also consults with patients on an outpatient basis. A physician referral is required.
