Behaviorial Health

Depression, anxiety, memory impairment, and other behavioral issues are treatable. Newberry Hospital’s Behavioral Health staff can help you get back to living life, instead of simply surviving.

Bridges Behavioral Health Services offers a structured outpatient program for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, loss, post-traumatic stress disorder, life role transitions, family problems, and many other of life's challenges. In addition, we offer an award-winning program designed to help those experiencing memory impairment due to dementia.

All clinical care is supervised by our medical director and includes initial evaluations, medication management and therapy. Our treatment team consists of professionally credentialed and trained staff members who provide group therapy and family/individual counseling as needed.

Transportation

Transportation may also be provided if needed based on scheduling availability and being within a 35-mile radius of the hospital. We also coordinate transportation with the Newberry County Council on Aging for those in need of wheelchair transport or other assistance.
