REHAB-2016-0005-Rehab Services-Speech Language Pathologist (PT and PRN positions)-Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology; current or eligible for license in Speech Pathology. BLS certification required; certificate of clinical competency in speech language pathology or eligible for CFV. Provides optimal speech-language pathology services to include evaluation, treatment, planning, and patient/family education and discharge planning for patients with disorders of communication deglutition and cognition as a team member within a rehabilitation environment. Also, participates in department program development.

MEDSU-2016– 0008- (1) Unit Coordinator-PT- (7p-7a)Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of unit coordinator or medical secretary course. Clinical experience in an acute care nursing environment preferred. High level of interpersonal skills to ensure coordination of patient care. Performs the routine clerical duties which enhance coordination of individualized patient care.

HIM-2016-0001-Director; FT- Applicant must have a minimum of two years HIM management/supervisory experience; required ICD 10 and CPT knowledge; required. RHIA or RHIT required. Current knowledge of HIPAA, The Joint Commission standards, legal, coding & transcription procedures required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous Meditech and 3M (HDM, CAC, and CRS) experience preferred. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the Director of Health Information Management will be accountable for the daily operations of HIM processes including: coding, transcription, release of information, chart analysis/completion, and vital records. The Director of HIM has primary responsibility for all functions of Health Information Management (HIM) and Coding, which includes: budgeting, monitoring, planning, directing and overseeing all policies and procedures related to Health Information Management. This individual will operate in compliance with federal, state, and hospital accrediting and regulatory agencies. The Director of Health Information Management is also designated as the hospital Privacy Officer for all hospital owned entities. As Privacy Officer, the Director of HIM oversees privacy related activities and responsibilities including implementing, monitoring, investigating and enforcing hospital policies & procedures, conducting educational programs, and ensuring ongoing hospital wide compliance.

EMER-2016-0015-Director FT- Registered Nurse with current SC, BSN License. Current BLS and ACLS & PALS certification required.   Minimum of   (2) yrs. nursing supervisory experience in an acute care hospital setting required. The candidate must be able to lead change. They would have responsibility of the budget with oversight from the CNO. The candidate is responsible for staffing and management of personnel assigned. This person would also do all reviews and evaluations of the team. The candidate would need to have a proven track record of leadership. They must be a good mentor and trainer. They must be able to communicate well with the team. They will be responsible for overseeing the utilization of all resources, for performance improvement and operations, and for providing a safe environment. The candidate will manage and direct staff to ensure cost and quality is maintained as well as improve patient satisfaction and actively participate in outstanding customer service. The RN working in the operating room and the recovery room will have the knowledge of current trends and techniques in preoperative nursing. Must work effectively with physicians, patients and peers.

BHS-2016-0001-Receptionists/Clerical-FT 32hrs. - Applicant must be a high school graduate. Successful completion of BLS and a valid driver’s license. Minimum of 1 year equivalent work experience. Strong organizational, logistical skills and good communication skills required. Word processing and spreadsheet abilities. The receptionists support’s the administrative coordinator and the Mental Health Technician positions. Responsibilities include transportation of patients, billing input, maintenance of patient records and patient scheduling.

EMS-2016-0006-EMT-P PRN- Applicant must be SC certified Paramedic with focus on continuous education through in-services, seminars, & in-house hospital education. Must have ACLS, PALS and BLS certification required. Provides basic and advanced life support to the critically ill and injured and transports patients to a medical facility.

EMS-2016-0010-EMT-B; (FT-Night Shift)- Applicant must be certified by the state of SC as a basic EMT. Must have a current BLS/CPR certification required. Prior EMT experience preferred. The basic EMT provides basic and advanced life support to the critically ill and injured, transports patients.

LAB-2016-0006-MLT (PT; 7a-7p Every other Weekend) - Applicant must have a MLT program in an accredited institution required, or eligible for ASCP registry. Minimum of 1 year MLT experience preferred. The MLT performs various clinical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Receives or obtains specimens for lab analysis. Must maintain and record Lab results and quality control in all areas.

PHAR-2016-0003-Staff Clinical Pharmacist (1-PRN as needed) -Applicant must possess a current license as a Pharmacist in the state of SC. Pharm D with residency preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital pharmacy practice. Responsible for the drug distribution, teaching, assigned administrative duties, drug therapy research, and the provision of clinical services. Responsible for training new employees and educating current employees.

PHARM-2016–0004-Pharmacist (FT) - Applicant must possess a current license as a Pharmacist in the state of SC. Pharm D with residency is preferred. Minimum of one year experience in hospital pharmacy practice and be familiar with unit dose, IV admixture and clinical pharmacy practice. They are responsible for the drug distribution, teaching, assigned administrative duties, drug therapy research, and the provision of clinical services. Responsible for training new employees and educating current employees in area of specialization or expertise.

DIET-2016-0004-Cook FT (5:30a-2p) - Applicant must be a high school graduate or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in a cafeteria, food preparation facility preferred. Reading and writing skills are needed. Responsible for the quality, timing and control of all areas of production in accordance to scheduled area.

REHAB-2016-0001-Rehab Services-(1) Cardiac Rehab Nurse(PRN as needed)-Applicant must be a graduate of school of Nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in the state of SC; ACLS and CPR certification required. Prior cardiovascular clinical experience preferred. The RN works with Phase I, II, III, and IV (Heart FIT) and Pulmonary Rehab clients. Assesses clients, develops exercise prescription, and conducts exercise sessions. Assists clients to optimal restoration.

REHAB-2016-0002-Rehab Services- 1 (PRN) Physical Therapist/ (1- PRN as needed) Physical Therapy Assistant- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  Applicant must be licensed in SC.   BLS certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of employment.  Position is responsible for the optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing a physical therapy program including assessment, evaluation an documentation. REHAB-2016-0005-Group Fitness Instructor-(PT)-Applicant must have exercise leader certifications and BLS required. Prior experience preferred. To lead effective Yoga and Aerobics exercise classes for those clients at the Wellness Center.

REHAB-2016–0006-Rehab Services-(1) Physical Therapist (FT)-Applicant must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in SC BLS certification required. Prior clinical PT experience preferred. Administers optimal patient care by planning, organizing, & implementing a Physical Therapy program, including assessment.

REHAB-2016–0008-CR Team Leader (PT)-Applicant must be an RN with ACLS certification and experience with reading monitors, identifying rhythms etc. Ex Physiologist with Master’s Degree. Physical Therapist with ACLS and ABPTS Cardiovascular and Pulmonary specialist certification.

REHAB-2016–0009-Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant OR Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed-FT- Applicant must be a graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy assistant education program; successful completion of a minimum of (2) months supervised fieldwork experience; successful completion of the licensure process for the COTA. BLS certification required. Current of temporary licensure in SC. must have more than 1 year of practice experience as a COTA preferred. With direct supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, the COTA administers optimal patient care.

CASE-2016-0001-Case Management-Clinical Documentation Specialist (PT 24hrs per week, on site)-Applicant must be a licensed RN, with coding experience and one of following certifications, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC or combination thereof. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in nursing or other clinical area, coding, process improvement, or utilization review/case management in an acute care facility. The Clinical Documentation Specialist review inpatient medical records concurrently (pre-bill) with providers and other members of the healthcare team. Coding skills with experience in ICD-9/ICD-10.

CASE-2016-0003-Case Management-(LMSW) Social Worker-(FT 40 hrs. a week, rotation with being on call on the weekends)-Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. 1-3 years skilled nursing/acute care experience, 1-3 years’ experience case management in acute care setting. Preferred experience with the application of InterQual criteria. Preferred experience with insurances authorizations. Responsible for the coordination of the Healthy Outcome Plan for the uninsured patients particularly in high traffic areas like the ER.

DIAG-2016-0006-Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Technologist FT-40- Applicant must be a graduate of a program and/or current registration in diagnostic Ultrasonography. Previous experience preferred. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a wide variety of ultrasound studies, abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and Echo’s under the supervision of a physician.
