HIM-2016-0001-Director; FT- Applicant must have a minimum of two years HIM management/supervisory experience; required ICD 10 and CPT knowledge; required. RHIA or RHIT required. Current knowledge of HIPAA, The Joint Commission standards, legal, coding & transcription procedures required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous Meditech and 3M (HDM, CAC, and CRS) experience preferred. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the Director of Health Information Management will be accountable for the daily operations of HIM processes including: coding, transcription, release of information, chart analysis/completion, and vital records. The Director of HIM has primary responsibility for all functions of Health Information Management (HIM) and Coding, which includes: budgeting, monitoring, planning, directing and overseeing all policies and procedures related to Health Information Management. This individual will operate in compliance with federal, state, and hospital accrediting and regulatory agencies. The Director of Health Information Management is also designated as the hospital Privacy Officer for all hospital owned entities. As Privacy Officer, the Director of HIM oversees privacy related activities and responsibilities including implementing, monitoring, investigating and enforcing hospital policies & procedures, conducting educational programs, and ensuring ongoing hospital wide compliance.

EMER-2016-0015-Director FT- Registered Nurse with current SC, BSN License. Current BLS and ACLS & PALS certification required. Minimum of (2) yrs. nursing supervisory experience in an acute care hospital setting required. The candidate must be able to lead change. They would have responsibility of the budget with oversight from the CNO. The candidate is responsible for staffing and management of personnel assigned. This person would also do all reviews and evaluations of the team. The candidate would need to have a proven track record of leadership. They must be a good mentor and trainer. They must be able to communicate well with the team. They will be responsible for overseeing the utilization of all resources, for performance improvement and operations, and for providing a safe environment. The candidate will manage and direct staff to ensure cost and quality is maintained as well as improve patient satisfaction and actively participate in outstanding customer service. AMBU-2016-0003-RN FT 7:30am-4pm- Applicant must be a graduate of a school of nursing; current license to practice as a RN in SC; current BLS certification; ACLS required. Clinical experience in an acute care environment preferred. Under the supervision of the charge nurse or Nurse Manager, prescribes interventions, delegate’s tasks, and coordinates care of assigned patients. Gives directions and supervision to ancillary staff and gives individualized patient care.

AMBU-2016-0004-RN Charge Nurse FT; 6:30a-3p; M-F- Applicant must be a graduate of a school of nursing; current license to practice as RN in the state of SC; Current BLS certification required; ACLS required. LITMTN-2016-0004-Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist/Lab Specialist; (FT) - Applicant must have a high school diploma; Associate degree preferred, and must possess a valid phlebotomy certification. Knowledge of basic medical terminology is required. Computer experience is required; experience with an electronic medical record is preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills required. The Phlebotomist and Lab Specialist is responsible for drawing blood and collecting urine, labeling each sample and working closely with the labs to ensure the proper samples are delivered for each patient. Expect to draw blood from babies, children, young adults and elderly patients daily. Assist administrative and clinical support to one or more individuals in a clinical environment, including completing prior authorizations and referrals, pulling patients back and filling in for clinical staff members. Responsible for maintaining patient health information in the electronic medical record, and accurately sorting and filling medical records and documents in electronic medical charts. Must provide excellent patient service and act to strengthen the relationship between the patient and our entire healthcare system.

LITMTN-2016-0005-Office Receptionists FT- Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of basic medical terminology is required. Computer experience is required; experience with an electronic medical record is preferred. Knowledge of medical practice setting and health insurance preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Provides administrative support to one or more individuals in an office environment, including triage of patient phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, completing prior authorizations and referrals, assisting with prescription refills, and performing other administrative duties necessary for efficient patient care.

DIAG-2016-0011-PRN Sonographer for Call (Echo/Vasc) - Applicant must be RDMS certified, and have at least 2 years of experience. Applicant must be a graduate of a program and/ or current registration in diagnostic Ultrasonography. Position will perform ECHO/Vascular procedures, responsive to call requirements, and all employment requirements of NCMH. Learn hospital computer system, responsible for entering patient information applicable to procedures performed. General Diagnostic ultrasound procedures, also preferred, but not required.

EMS-2016-0006-EMT-P PRN- Applicant must be SC certified Paramedic with focus on continuous education through in-services, seminars, & in-house Education.   Must have ACLS, PALS and BLS certification required. Provides basic and advanced life support to the critically ill and injured, transports patients.

EMS-2016-0010-EMT-B; (FT-Night Shift) - Applicant must be certified by the state of SC as a basic EMT. Must have a current BLS/CPR certification required. Prior EMT experience preferred. The basic EMT provides basic and advanced life support to the critically ill and injured, transports patients.

LAB-2016-0009-MLT (PRN as needed)-Applicant must have an Associate degree from a MLT program required, or eligible for ASCP registry. Minimum of 1 year experience preferred. LAB-2016-0011-MLT OR MT FT- Applicant must have a MLT program in an accredited institution required, or eligible for ASCP registry. Minimum of 1 year MLT experience preferred. PHAR-2016-0003-Staff Clinical Pharmacist (1-PRN as needed) -Applicant must possess a current license as a Pharmacist in the state of SC. Pharm D with residency preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital pharmacy practice preferred. Responsible for the drug distribution, teaching, assigned administrative duties, drug therapy research, and the provision of clinical services. Position is responsible for training new employees and educating employees.

MEDSU-2016-0015-Unit Coordinator; (PT)-Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of unit coordinator or medical secretary course preferred. Clinical experience in an acute care nursing environment preferred. Position performs the routine clerical duties which enhance coordination of individualized patient care.

DIET-2016-0005-Dietary Aide/Host FT (6am-6pm)-Applicant must have prior food service experience desired. Applicant must have ability to communicate in both written and verbal English. Work well under time constraints; apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Position is responsible for preparing, delivering, and picking up trays for patients. Communication information regarding the menu, delivering nourishments, taking inventory of floor stock and re-stock.

DIET-2016-0007-Dietary Aide; PT (9a-7pm)-Applicant must have prior food service experience desired. Applicant must have ability to communicate in both written and verbal English. Work well under time constraints; apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions. Position is responsible for washing all pots and utensils; assist in the dish room and properly store and maintain all items. Receive stock and place it in the proper storage arrears. Sweep, mop and clean as directed.

PATAC-2016-0016-Patient Access Registrar PRN- Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must have typing/computer skills, communication skills. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred. Ensures that complete and accurate patient account information is collected.

PATAC-2016-0017-Emergency Room Coordinator; FT (M-F; 11a-7p) - Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent required. College degree (Associate or 4 year) preferred. Three years of previous experience in a hospital registration/admissions department required. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Working knowledge of standards from regulatory agencies and accrediting organizations (DHHS, CMS, and Joint Commission), insurance verification/authorization processes, Meditech, and bed side registration preferred. This position provides direct oversight of the ER registration process and supervision of ER registration staff. Coordinates staff schedules and initial/continuous training for all ER registration staff. Provides guidance and feedback on employee performance through quality insurance reports. Assists Patient Access Manager with staff education, monthly team meeting, and performance appraisals. Because the department requires 24/7 coverage, the coordinator may need to flex hours to assist with training and coverage.

HIM-2016-0003-Coder PRN as needed- Applicant must have a high school diploma. Post high school Vocational/Specialized training or an Associate’s degree is preferred. Must possess or be eligible for one or more of the following certifications: CCS, CCS-P, CPC, RHIA and RHIT. Applicant must have at least 2 years of coding experience in IDC-9-CM, ICT-10 & CPT-4. Experience with Meditech and medical necessity programs preferred. Position requires knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, clinical medicine, surgery, diagnostic test, radiology, pathology, pharmacology and various medical specialties.

REHAB-2016-0002-Rehab Services- 1 (PRN) Physical Therapist/ (1- PRN as needed) Physical Therapy Assistant- Must have a Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  Applicant must be licensed in SC.   BLS certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of employment.  Position is responsible for the optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing a physical therapy program including assessment, evaluation an documentation.

REHAB-2016-0005-Group Fitness Instructor-(PT)-Applicant must have exercise leader certifications and BLS required. Prior experience preferred. To lead effective Yoga and Aerobics exercise classes for those clients at the Wellness Center.

REHAB-2016-0011-Speech Language Pathologist (PRN as needed) - Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology; current or eligible for license in Speech Pathology. BLS certification required; certificate of clinical competency in speech language pathology or eligible for CFV. Provides optimal speech-language pathology services to include evaluation, treatment, planning, and patient/family education and discharge planning for patients with disorders.

REHAB-2016-0012-Physical Therapist FT- Applicant must have a current or temporary licensure or eligibility for licensure in SC. BLS certification required. Prior clinical Physical Therapy experience preferred. Position administers optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing a physical therapy program including assessment, evaluation, documentation and treatment for individual patients referred by attending physician. Will assists with review and development of department and program policies and procedures and with the supervision/education of other staff.

REHAB-2016-0013-Speech Language Pathologist OR SLP Assistant FT OR PT; M-F- Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology; current or eligible for license in Speech Pathology. BLS certification required; certificate of clinical competency in speech language pathology or eligible for CFV. Provides optimal speech-language pathology services to include evaluation, treatment, planning, and patient/family education and discharge planning for patients with disorders.

CASE-2016-0003-Case Management-(LMSW) Social Worker-(FT 40 hrs. a week, rotation with being on call on the weekends)-Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. 1-3 years skilled nursing/acute care experience, 1-3 years’ experience case management in acute care setting. Preferred experience with the application of InterQual criteria. Preferred experience with insurances authorizations. Position is responsible for the coordination of the Healthy Outcome Plan for the uninsured patients particularly in high traffic areas like the ER.

HOUS-2016–00011-Housekeeper PRN as needed-Applicant must be able to read and write. High school graduate or equivalent preferred. Prior institutional housekeeping experience preferred. The housekeeper is responsible for cleaning patient rooms, bathrooms and offices.
