HIM-2016-0001-Director; FT-Applicant must have three to five years’ experience in a Him Department, in an acute care setting; required. Applicant must have a minimum of two years HIM management/supervisory experience; required ICD 10 and CPT knowledge; required. RHIA or RHIT required. Current knowledge of HIPAA, The Joint Commission standards, legal, coding & transcription procedures required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous Meditech and 3M (HDM, CAC, and CRS) experience preferred. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer the Director of Health Information Management will be accountable for the daily operations of HIM processes including: coding, transcription, release of information, chart analysis/completion, and vital records. The Director of HIM has primary responsibility for all functions of Health Information Management (HIM) and Coding, which includes: budgeting, monitoring, planning, directing and overseeing all policies and procedures related to Health Information Management. This individual will operate in compliance with federal, state, and hospital accrediting and regulatory agencies. The Director of Health Information Management is also designated as the hospital Privacy Officer for all hospital owned entities. As Privacy Officer, the Director of HIM oversees privacy related activities and responsibilities including implementing, monitoring, investigating and enforcing hospital policies & procedures, conducting educational programs, and ensuring ongoing hospital wide compliance. The Director of HIM will act as the facilities RAC/Audit coordinator.

PFS-2016– 0002-Patient Financial Services Director; FT- Applicant must have a Bachelor Degree in Business or related field; Hospital PFS office experience with a minimum 3 years of management experience; Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) preferred; previous Meditech experience preferred. The Patient Financial Services (PFS) Director reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and manages the PFS Department including patient registration, patient billing, cashiering, collections, and financial counseling functions. The PFS Director leads the Revenue Cycle team and works collaboratively with other Directors, Managers, and support staff to ensure integrity through regulatory compliance, proper reimbursement, and outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate must demonstrate effective communication, flexibility, critical thinking skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to work well with others.

EMS-2016-0003-EMS-EMT Paramedic; FT- Applicant must be SC certified Paramedic with focus on continuous education through in-services, seminars, & in-house hospital education. Must have ACLS, PALS and BLS certification required. Provides basic and advanced life support to the critically ill and injured and transports patients to a medical facility.

LAB-2016–0002-MLT (FT-32; 7a-7p)-Applicant must have a MLT program in an accredited institution required, or eligible for ASCP registry. Minimum of 1 year MLT experience preferred. The MLT performs various clinical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Receives or obtains specimens for lab analysis. Must maintain and record lab results and quality control in all areas.

LAB-2016–0003-Phlebotomist (PRN as needed) - Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent required. Must have certification to perform phlebotomy functions. One year prior experience preferred. Performs all medical policy and procedures on both inpatients and outpatients in a timely manner. Collects blood samples from patients required for the performance of laboratory tests as requested by the physician.

PHAR-2016-0002-Staff Clinical Pharmacist (1-PRN as needed)- Applicant must possess a current license as a Pharmacist in the state of SC. Pharm D with residency preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in a hospital pharmacy practice. Responsible for the drug distribution, teaching, assigned administrative duties, drug therapy research, and the provision of clinical services. Responsible for training new employees and educating current employees in area of specialization or expertise. Holds routine responsibility for special assignments beyond the scope of staff pharmacist in areas of quality control an administration assigned by the Director of Pharmacy.

RESP-2016– 0001-Respiratory Therapist (PRN as needed)-Applicant must have an Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited school. SC board of medical examiners license to practice Respiratory Therapy. Certified in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Monitor and manage all oxygen therapy; all treatment therapies including but not limited to hand held nebulizers, incentive spirometer, flutter. Be proficient with ventilator set-up, monitor and management, intubation and extubation. Skills required to properly document patient care.

MEDSU-2016– 0007- (1) Unit Coordinator-PRN as needed- Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of unit coordinator or medical secretary course. Clinical experience in an acute care nursing environment preferred. High level of interpersonal skills to ensure coordination of patient care. Performs the routine clerical duties which enhance coordination of individualized patient care.

Co-ordinate’s kitchen flow. Conduct training for personnel, cook meals, and demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to staff. High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Prior experience in cafeteria setting preferred.

PATAC-2016–0004-Emergency Room Registrar-FT (1st & 3rd shift 3-12hr rotating shifts weekly)-Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Complete and accurate registration, insurance verification, & upfront collection. Provides exceptional customer service and works with other departments. Excellent computer, communication and organization skills required. Previous medical office/registration experience, medical terminology strongly preferred. Must be able to work holidays, weekends and rotating shifts.

EMER-2016-Emergency Department- 1- RN (FT)-Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; must be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of SC. Current BLS, ACLS, & PALS certification required. Clinical care experience in an acute care environment required. Under the supervision of manager, prescribes interventions, delegate’s tasks, and coordinates care. Also, gives direction and supervision to ancillary staff and gives individualized patient care.

REHAB-2016-0001-Rehab Services-(1) Cardiac Rehab Nurse(PRN as needed)-Applicant must be a graduate of school of Nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in the state of SC; ACLS and CPR certification required. Prior cardiovascular clinical experience preferred. The RN works with Phase I, II, III, and IV (Heart FIT) and Pulmonary Rehab clients. Assesses clients, develops exercise prescription, and conducts exercise sessions. Assists clients to optimal restoration, assists with community, industrial, and employee wellness.

REHAB-2016-0002-Rehab Services- 1 (PRN) Physical Therapist/ (1- PRN as needed) Physical Therapy Assistant-Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  Applicant must be licensed in SC.   BLS certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of employment.  Position is responsible for the optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing a physical therapy program including assessment, evaluation, documentation and treatment for patients referred by attending physician. Applicant must assists with development of procedures with the supervision/education of other staff.

REHAB-2016-0004-Rehab Services-Speech Therapist (PT)-Applicant must have a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology; current or eligible for license in Speech Pathology. BLS certification required; certificate of clinical competency in speech language pathology or eligible for CFV. Provides optimal speech-language pathology services to include evaluation, treatment, planning, and patient/family education and discharge planning for patients with disorders of communication deglutition and cognition as a team member within a rehabilitation environment. Also, participates in department program development.

REHAB-2016-0005-Group Fitness Instructor-(PT)-Applicant must have exercise leader certifications and BLS required. Prior experience preferred. To lead effective Yoga and Aerobics exercise classes for those clients at the Wellness Center.

REHAB-2016–0006-Rehab Services-(1) Physical Therapist (FT)-Applicant must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in SC BLS certification required. Prior clinical PT experience preferred. Administers optimal patient care by planning, organizing, & implementing a Physical Therapy program, including assessment, evaluation, documentation & treatment. Assists with review & development of department policies & procedures. Works closely with rehab staff, physicians, patients/ families.

REHAB-2016–0008-CR Team Leader (PT)-Applicant must be an RN with ACLS certification and experience with reading monitors, identifying rhythms etc. Ex Physiologist with Master’s Degree. Physical Therapist with ACLS and ABPTS Cardiovascular and Pulmonary specialist certification.

CASE-2016-0001-Case Management-Clinical Documentation Specialist (PT 24hrs per week, on site)-Applicant must be a licensed RN, with coding experience and one of following certifications, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC or combination thereof. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in nursing or other clinical area, coding, process improvement, or utilization review/case management in an acute care facility. The Clinical Documentation Specialist review inpatient medical records concurrently (pre-bill) with providers and other members of the healthcare team. Coding skills with experience in ICD-9/ICD-10; working knowledge of the AHA Coding Clinic.          

CASE-2016-0003-Case Management-(LMSW) Social Worker-(FT 40 hrs. a week, rotation with being on call on the weekends)-Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work. 1-3 years skilled nursing/acute care experience, 1-3 years’ experience case management in acute care setting. Preferred experience with the application of InterQual criteria. Preferred experience with insurances authorizations. Responsible for the coordination of the Healthy Outcome Plan for the uninsured patients particularly in high traffic areas like the ER. They will be responsible for assessing each patient and becoming their navigator towards a medial home. Assessment may include eligibility for health care afford ability programs, disease management strategies, education on medications, social needs, behavioral health needs, and education on availability of the Free Clinic. Also must assist Case Management with the assessment of our inpatients and assess for discharge needs upon admission.

DIAG-2016-0006-(1) Diagnostic Imaging Ultrasound Technologist FT-40- Applicant must be a graduate of a program and/or current registration in diagnostic Ultrasonography. Previous experience preferred. The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing a wide variety of ultrasound studies, abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and Echo’s under the supervision of a physician. Opportunity for vascular and echo training.
