Med/Surg- (1) Nurse Assistant (Part-Time/PRN as needed)-Applicant must be a graduate of a nursing assistant program or a student of a nursing program that has completed fundamentals of nursing class or on the job training.  BLS certification required. Clinical experience in an acute care environment preferred. Must provide individualized patient care, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.             

Operating Room-(1) RN-OR Nurse (FT-6:30a-3p; plus call) 5,000 Sign on Bonus & 5,000 Retention Bonus-Current license to practice as an RN in the state of SC. Current BLS certification. At least 6-months nursing experience in an acute care setting; 1 year surgical unit experience. The RN working in the OR and recovery room will have the knowledge of current trends and techniques in perioperative nursing as evidenced by the credentialing of the department.

Emergency Department-(2) ED Tech (FT)- Applicant must have a completed Nursing Assistant/Technician program or must be a nursing student who has successfully completed fundamentals of nursing; current BLS certification required. Clinical experience in an acute care nursing environment preferred. Must have the ability to problem solve, cope in high stress levels, and use interpersonal skills.  Under the supervision of the LPN, RN, Nurse Manager/Supervisor, while providing patient care.

Emergency Department- (1) Director (FT) – Registered Nurse with current SC, BSN License.  Current BLS and ACLS & PALS certification required.   Minimum of   (2) yrs. nursing supervisory experience in an acute care hospital setting required. The candidate must be able to lead change. They would have responsibility of the budget with oversight from the CNO. The candidate is responsible for staffing and management of personnel assigned. This person would also do all reviews and evaluations of the team. The candidate would need to have a proven track record of leadership.  They must be a good mentor and trainer. They must be able to communicate well with the team.  They will be responsible for overseeing the utilization of all resources, for performance improvement and operations, and for providing a safe environment.  The candidate will manage and direct staff to ensure cost and quality is maintained as well as improve patient satisfaction and actively participate in outstanding customer service. Relocation assistance provided.

Emergency Department- (2)-RN (FT; 7p-7a)-Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; must be licensed as a registered nurse in the state of SC. Current BLS, ACLS, & PALS certification required. Clinical care experience in an acute care environment required. Under the supervision of manager, prescribes interventions, delegate’s tasks, and coordinates care. Also, gives direction and supervision to ancillary staff and gives individualized patient care.

Ambulatory Care-(1) RN (PRN-7a-3p)-Applicant must be a graduate of a school of nursing; current license to practice as a RN in SC; current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Clinical experience in an acute care environment preferred. Under supervision of charge nurse, prescribes interventions, delegate’s tasks, and coordinates care of assigned patients.

Respiratory-(1) Respiratory Therapist-(FT-36 7p-7a)-Applicant must have a current BLS & RRT certification required; ACLS preferred. The respiratory therapist must provide high quality respiratory care to patients. 1-2 years acute care experience preferred. Administer oxygen, aerosol treatments, ventilator management, incentive spirometry, and MDI.

Patient Access-PBX Switchboard Operator (PT-24 hrs. /week (2:30p-11p during the week and 9a-9p on the weekends. Days will be rotating).  Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent excellent typing/computer skills, communication skills; excellent customer service skills. Answers all incoming calls and operating the paging system in a timely/accurate manner.

Patient Access-Registrar (PRN as needed; hours varied)-Ensures that complete and accurate patient account information is collected and entered into the hospital record. Verifies patient insurance information and collects payment before services are rendered. Provides education/training and coverage for all areas of registration/PBX and must be able to work all shifts, holidays and weekend shifts. Excellent computer and typing skills, insurance or medical office strongly preferred.

Cardiac Rehab-RN (PT 24hrs 3 days/week)- Applicant must be a graduate of school of Nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in the state of SC; ACLS and CPR certification required. Prior cardiovascular clinical experience preferred. The RN works with Phase I, II, III, and IV (Heart FIT) and Pulmonary Rehab clients. Assesses clients, develops exercise prescription, and conducts exercise sessions. Assists clients to optimal restoration. Assists with community, industrial, and employee wellness.

Rehab Services- (FT) Physical Therapist & Physical Therapy Assistant (PRN as needed)- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.  Applicant must be licensed in SC.   BLS certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of employment.  Position is responsible for the optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing a physical therapy program including assessment, evaluation, documentation and treatment for patients referred by attending physician. Applicant must assists with development of procedures with the supervision/education of other staff.

Rehab Services-Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant(Part-Time/PRN as needed)-Applicant must be a graduate of an AOTA approved occupational therapy assistant education program; completion of a minimum of 2 months supervised fieldwork experience; completion of the licensure process for the COTA. Current licensure in the state of SC. Greater than 1 year experience as a COTA preferred. BLS certification required.  Works with direct supervision of licensed occupational therapists, the COTA administers optimal patient care by planning, organizing, and implementing an occupational therapy program.

Group Fitness Instructor-(PT)-Applicant must have exercise leader certifications and BLS required. Prior experience preferred. To lead effective Yoga and Aerobics exercise classes for those clients at the Wellness Center.

Case Management-Clinical Documentation Specialist (PT 24hrs per week, on site)-Applicant must be a licensed RN, with coding experience and one of following certifications, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC or combination thereof. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in nursing or other clinical area, coding, process improvement, or utilization review/case management in an acute care facility. The Clinical Documentation Specialist review inpatient medical records concurrently (pre-bill) with providers and other members of the healthcare team. Coding skills with experience in ICD-9/ICD-10 and working knowledge of the AHA Coding Clinic.

LAB-MLT (FT; M-Fri-4p-12:30a & every 3rd weekend)-Applicant must have a degree from a MLT program in an accredited institution required, or eligible for ASCP (or equivalent) registry. Minimum of one year of MLT experience preferred. The MLT performs various clinical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Receives or obtains specimens for lab analysis. Prepares and applies techniques used in fields of blood bank, bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, serology, urinalysis, chemistry and morphological examinations. Must maintain and record lab results and quality control.
